With Advanced Assurance from HMRC for EIS Investors

Senda

Executive Brief

Our journey so far...

The payments space continues to grow with no signs of slowing down. While there are many competitors in the market, the number one complaint from customers using their sites is the 'lack of service'. This is our value proposition. We intend to invest heavily to make sure our chatbots are world beating. Also, the option to speak to a human is up front and centre. Just select a callback time and we will return your call.

The platform and apps are done. We're now ready to submit our application to the FCA, but need to meet their capital requirements.

THE ROADMAP
We apply for our PI (Payments Institutional) license which allows us to launch money transfers from UK to EU.

Year 2 We will apply to upgrade to an API (Authorised Payments Institutional) license. This allows us to accept POS payments.

Year 3 We will obtain our EMI (Electronic Money Institutional) license. This will allow money transfers to and from UK and EU. We will also be able to expand our banking network and open new countries without any restrictions, which makes us global.

We have 2 funding programs at the moment:

EIS Investors

HMRC have granted us Advanced Assurance. Now you can qualify for EIS tax and capital gains benefits.

Once we meet the capital requirements, we will submit our application to the FCA. That will take 3-5 months. In that time we will be coding the app to the banking backbone. You will receive regular updates via email or via this.

Once the round is closed, we will register your interest in Senda. This costs £200 per person. You will receive a Certificate from us which you will present to your accountant. They will handle the rest. We can't guarantee you will receive EIS benefits as we don't know your financial situation. All we verify is that Senda qualifies for EIS benefits to qualifying investors.

We begin with a PI (Payments Institution) license. This allows us to do money transfers to the EU. By year 2, we will apply to upgrade our license to API (Authorised Payment Institution) license. This allows us to introduce POS payments in the UK. By Year 3, we will be ready to apply for our EMI (Electronic Money Institution) license. This will allow us to onboard more banking partners, open more countries and expand globally.

Absolutely! We encourage you to work within your risk profile. We anticipate this round to close with one Institutional investor for half, and up to a dozen individual investors.

Absolutely! It's the least we can do for the help your bringing us.

You will not be charged any fees for money transfers.

The EIS scheme provides amazing tax and capital gains benefits for qualifying investors. We suggest you speak to your financial advisor about this as we don't know your particular circumstances.

Yes! For businesses who have to pay EU suppliers, saving on fees will add up to substantial savings over time.

If we've sold out of memberships for backers, or if the funding round is closed, we will return all funds.
